Bailey Broncos could not hold onto the lead against DK8 Tigers on Monday and fell 12-7 despite leading by four runs at one point.

A solo home run to left center field by Landon Harvey on a 3-0 count put DK8 Tigers on the board in the top of the first.

Bailey took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Tyler Colvin singled, and Lincolm Brim hit into a double play, each scoring one run.

James Krystalowych singled, which helped DK8 Tigers tie the game at two in the top of the third.

The Broncos jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Tyler Parsons hit into a fielder's choice, DK8 Tigers committed an error, and Brim grounded out, each scoring one run.

DK8 Tigers scored two runs in the top of the fifth on a home run to left center field by Harvey.

DK8 Tigers captured the lead, 8-7 in the top of the sixth when Nolan Pratt singled , scoring one run, and Max Matthews homered to left center field, scoring three runs.

DK8 scored four runs in the top of the seventh on a grand slam to left field by Harvey.

Matthew Devlin took the loss for Bailey. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out one and walking three. Hudson Kline stared on the hill for Bailey. The southpaw allowed five this and four runs over five innings, striking out three and walking four.

Colvin went 2-for-3 at the plate as the right-handed hitter led the team with two runs batted in and stole two bases.

DK8 amassed 13 hits in the game. Harvey went 4-for-5 on the day.

Bailey Broncos welcome Ranson Raiders on Wednesday for their final home game. The Broncos will play Davidson Tigers again on Monday, May 6th @ 5:00 PM at McEver field in Davidson.
